I have always loved animals. Spending time with them and drawing them. I used to spend hours pouring over magazines and books, looking for the perfect picture to draw or paint (the days before the internet hey!?) In fact I still remember finding a picture of a pug in the newspaper at my grandparent’s house when I was about 8, and thinking it was the most adorable thing ever. They had the picture I drew of it up for years. I also used to do portraits of all our pets (at one point we had 7 cats, a dog and 2 hamsters!), with this in mind I suddenly thought, why aren’t I doing pet portrait now? So now I am!
