We visited London for a few days several weeks back, with a list of things to do and visit (mainly Vegan food places! We ate very well), but one of the places I was adamant that we needed to go to was Palm Vaults. Having first seen Leona from Lucky Dip Club post about it I was desperate to see it for myself.
It is on a bit of a dreary street in Hackney, opposite a Halifax, but don’t let this fool you! It’s glistening, pastel visage entices you in, and once inside you are greeted by a place of dreams; all pastels, plants and pleasant smells.
It is a little bit of luxury and indulgence, with an oasis of hanging plants in their pink hangers, heavy marble tables, velvet seats and gorgeous fresh blooms on the tables. The food and drink is exquisitely presented, and at a reasonable price, and did I mention bath room goals! That place has got me wanting palm leaf paper and pink everywhere, and as a former hater of pink that is quite an achievement!
There were some delays with service and a bit of a mix-up, but the staff were all so wonderful, and gave us a complimentary drink each to make up for it. It really was no hardship having to sit for an extra 20 minutes sipping my red, velvet coffee, in such sumptuous surroundings.
It has been called the most instagramable place in London, which may get some eyes rolling, but honestly it’s impossible not to be itching to reach for you phone to take a cheeky photo or two!
